What does VEMAS need to give us a quote?

What are VEMAS' standard payment terms?

 

Standard terms are Net 30 days. Discounts are available for customers who wish to pay early, and are negotiated on a case by case basis.

Does VEMAS guarantee its work?

 

Yes. The standard warranty for product assembled using materials purchased by VEMAS is 90 calendar days from the shipping date for both parts and labor. Products assembled using consigned materials are guaranteed for 90 calendar days from the shipping date for workmanship only.

What are VEMAS' production limits?

What type of testing services does VEMAS offer?

 

VEMAS provides both fixtureless in-circuit testing and functional testing. In-circuit testing is performed by a Takaya 8300, which is ideal for assemblies with primarily passive components. The Takaya does not power up the assembly.

PCB functional testing is available via a PC, a "black box," or a GenRad 2283E. Cable assemblies are tested via a Cirris Signature 5000 Cable Tester.

Does VEMAS offer IC programming services?

 

Yes. We use the following equipment:

  • Prote'us Programming Center
  • Data I/O Programming Center
  • Microchip Picstart Programmer
  • Logical Devices Model QUV-T8 UV Eraser

How does VEMAS generate and control the process documentation required?

 

All Engineering Masters and individual Work Orders are password protected in our Visual Manufacturing software. Color coded drawings for assembly are controlled by CircuitCam Windows '98 32 bit software.

What type of solder and solder paste does VEMAS use?

 

VEMAS uses only Kester water soluble products. We do NOT use any reclaimed solder in our process.

How does VEMAS ship product?

 

Product is packaged per IPC specs or customer supplied requirements. VEMAS can ship via UPS, FedEx, common carrier or VEMAS van delivery.
